Storm skaters - technical and general designer
For this project, I created the chunks used in the level generator and the rules used by the system to generate an interesting and diverse game world.
To the Core - system designer
For this project I created a system/tool the developers used to provide consistent variety in the generated chunks.
Octopus Rush - level designer
For this project I created a simple algorithm that generates a level with space in between each obstacle. The obstacles also have a certain range of variety.
Exiles of Auriga - unit designer
For this project I designed and implemented 4 different enemy types, each fulfilling their specific role.
LSDude - level designer
For this project I designed and implemented a procedural level generator.
Introduction
Iām Koert, a dedicated and hard-working developer. My focus is on game design, more specifically on designing and implementing systems. When I deliver my work I try to focus on the quality and on the presentation of what I need to deliver.
When I am not working on a project, I like to go bouldering, listen to music, watch a movie, learn about anything that seems interesting, or play games for leisure and entertainment. Games I enjoy range from racing games, to tactical shooters, to strategy games, to simulators, to board games, to card games, and many more.
